Pita Bread

2 cups warm water
1 1/2 TBS yeast
1 TBS sugar

Dissolve yeast in water and add sugar.

Add:
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 TBS oil
4 1/2 - 5 cups flour

Mix in mixer 5 minutes. Put in greased bowl covered - let rise 20 minutes. Form 12-16 balls - rise 10-15 minutes. Heat oven to 500*. Roll out dough into 5-6" rounds. Put on greased cookie sheets, bake for 7-8 minutes, till brown. They should puff up. Cool on rack covered with damp tea towel.

Fill with egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, taco stuff, or peanut butter and banana mixture.

Peanut butter mixture:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup butter

Mix ingredients together. Fill pita pocket with peanut butter mixture and sliced bananas.
